Martin Scorsese to helm U.S. TV pilot

Washington, Aug 12 (ANI): Filmmaker Martin Scorsese is currently in talks to make a foray into television by directing an upcoming U.S. television pilot.

Scorsese will be helming HBO's drama pilot 'Boardwalk Empire'.

Scorsese is an executive producer on the project, along with actor Mark Wahlberg, reports Contactmusic.

'Boardwalk Empire' documents the scene of 1920s East Coast gambling Mecca Atlantic City, New Jersey. (ANI)
