Bobby Deol is extremely fond of Preity Zinta. The two had worked together in Soldier and had become very good friends. They later worked together in Jhoom Barabar Jhoom but it seems that things were not so hunky dory between them during this shoot as Preity preferred to hang out with Abhishek Bachchan, who is just as talkative as her. Bobby is reported to have felt quite left out during this shoot.

But the two came together again for Samir Karnik's Heroes and if sources are to believed, they will also star in Vijayta Films next venture. Apparently, the film is to be directed by Sangeeth Sivan and he wanted to take a new girl opposite Bobby. But the actor insisted on Preity. The film is supposed to be about a father son relationship and will star Dharmendra as well, in the role of Bobby's on screen father. Things are yet to be finalized as Preity is still out of the country. But it seems that Bobby is determined to talk to her about the script once she is back. They intent to start the film's shoot as soon as possible. The film will be shot in Kullu Manali and Uttaranchal.
