London, Aug 14 (IANS) The cast of Woody Allen's movie 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona' was stunned when they found a bronze statue of the director in Oviedo, Spain.
The statue was erected in 2002 after Allen was honoured with a Prince of Asturias Cultural Award. The actors - Penelope Cruz, Scarlett Johansson and Javier Bardem - were not aware of the statue until they found it during a night out after filming, reports contactmusic.com.
Cruz said: 'We went out one night in Oviedo and we ran into this bronze sculpture of Woody. They love him. We took pictures with the sculpture, hugging it, and gave the photos to Woody.'
