I would love to be like Dolly Parton: Simpson

London, Aug 14 (IANS) Pop singer Jessica Simpson hero worships country legend Dolly Parton and says she wants to become like her.

Thesun.co.uk quoted her as saying: 'Dolly is awesome! I idolise her. And she is beautiful. I would love to be just like her. I have worked with her and it was great. It was really exciting - I am blessed, 100 percent.'

Simpson is set to release her first country record in September. She also revealed that she had been in an abusive relationship and her song 'Remember That' is based on those experiences.

She added: 'I don't want to talk about it, but I have definitely experienced abuse in a way that I would tell people to take their heart and run.'
