While many actresses like Tabu and Amisha refused to be a part of Shah Rukh's home production BILLO BARBER because of the length of the character, it was Lara who took keen interest in the project. She readily accepted the offer.Probably this is the reason which might have made King Khan feel good about Lara who agreed to do the film. This marked Lara's entry into SRK's friend list. And you know how Shah Rukh is. He will do anything for his good pals. According to the reports, SRK took utmost care of Lara Dutta while shooting for BILLO BARBER. Recently when the shoot of BILLO BARBER was held in the remote areas of Tamil Nadu, which was devoid of 5-star facilities, it is learnt that Shah Rukh personally took the responsibility of arranging the required facilities and a comfortable stay for Lara.
Seeing this gesture of Shah Rukh, Lara was really taken aback. She didn't even complain once rather she enjoyed the entire shooting process in those remote areas. She took active interest in each and every part of shooting.
