Well, these days everybody seems to be talking in crores. Actors are charging the most exorbitant of prices and getting way with it. Of course, part of that is justified as the actors are the face that bring the audiences into the theatres. But it seems that finally even directors are getting their day in the sun. Director Anees Bazmee seems to have joined the crore bracket. So now with superstar actors, we also have a superstar director.

The recent success of Singh Is Kinng has catapulted Bazmee into a superstar category. The director, who has been known for making comedies, has recently been signed by actor Anil Kapoor to direct the next film for his production company. And the whooping amount that he has been signed for is reportedly Rs 15 crores. It is quite an unheard of sum for a director to be signed for. That's not all. Kapoor has also given him a signing amount of five crores and 11 lakhs as the initial signing amount. The film that Bazmee will be directing for Kapoor is a comedy which will see four heroes in action. The actor-producer and the director recently even visited Sanjay Dutt in Bangkok, where he is shooting for Blue, to sign him for the project. Actor Akshaye Khanna is also a part of the project along with Kapoor himself. The fourth hero is yet to be signed. This yet-to-be-untitled film is all set to hit the floors by next year. Bazmee is currently working on Sanjay Kapoor's film, while Anil is completing Shortkut being directed by Neeraj Vohra for his banner.
