Vikram Bhatt's horror flick, 1920, may have better than expected, but its debutant leading man has had enough of horror flicks. The actor is not keen to act in another one of them again. He wants now to be able to portray different roles in his forthcoming films.
Duggal, who made an impressive debut in 1920, will only be willing to revisit the horror genre if Bhatt decides to make a sequel. 1920 happened because this young man did not want to be seen as a chocolate boy hero from his first film onwards. But now that he has managed to create an impact with his first movie, he is willing to play the more conventional hero and chase the heroine instead of being chased by a ghost. Incidentally, the haunted house in Bhatt's film was called Allerton House, set in Yorkshire. The castle, apparently ranks high in the list of haunted castles in the world. According to Duggal, they would all huddle together in groups as it got dark very early in the region. Also, the castle was supposed to be haunted by the ghost of a woman, who used to be the owner, before she was murdered. Fresh from the success of 1920, Duggal will next be seen in a film called Phir, which is a thriller drama. He will be paired again with 1920 co-star Adah Sharma in the movie, which will be directed by Girish Dhamija.
