Actor Sharman Joshi, whose latest film, Hello directed by Atul Agnihotri releases today, has a lot of reasons to be thankful to multistarrers. He is an actor who has managed to get noticed despite being part of a talented cast.
Be it a Rang De Basanti, a Life In A Metro, a Hello, or any one of the numerous comedies he has done, the actor has made his presence felt always. His talent has never been in doubt, even if he has always starred in multistarrers. But the one thing that the actor would like to change now is being stereotyped in comedies like Golmaal and Dhol. Now the actor would like to experiment with other genres as well. But having said that, the actor's priority remains a good script, no matter what the genre is. He is believed to have said that he is happy sitting at home, if what he wants does not come his way. Currently, the actor's Hello has just released. His other releases this year will include Onir's Sorry Bhai, opposite Sanjay Suri and Chitrangada Singh and Raqeeb. At the moment he is working on 3 Idiots, which is being directed by Raj Kumar Hirani. The film stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Madhavan and Boman Irani as well. That's another multistarrer for you, but at least it is a change of genre. Incidentally, this will be the second film that he will be doing based on a Chetan Bhagat novel. The first Hello was based on Bhagat's One Night @ Call Centre, while 3 Idiots is based on Bhagat's Five Point Someone.
