Chetan Bhagat seems to have learned his lesson after burning his fingers once. No matter what producer Sohail Khan and director Apoorva Agnihotri say, Hello hardly lived up to expectations. And worst of all, the screenplay was one of the biggest villains. Hence, the writer has now decided to go solo. If reports are to be believed, then the writer will be writing a film by himself next.
Of course, there is another film based on Bhagat's novel which is under production. His novel Five Point Someone is being made into a film as well. Raj Kumar Hirani is directing the movie, titled Idiots, with Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Boman Irani, Madhavan and Sharman Joshi. That may just reinstate Bhagat's faith in Hindi films. But as of now, the writer is wary of his books being turned into screenplays. If reports are to be believed, then the writer has made a deal with Ashtavinayak for writing a film. In fact, these reports say that Bhagat has already started working on the film. The cast of the film will be decided once the script is ready.
