This was the year which was supposed to belong to actress Priyanka Chopra. After all she had four films coming up Love Story 2050, Drona, Fashion and Dostana. Unfortunately, things did not according to the script and the first two flopped miserbaly. But with Fashion hitting the jackpot, things seem to have taken a turn for the better for Priyanka.

The actress's uninhibited performane in the film is being talked about. In fact, the actress was even appreciated for her work in Drona. But with Fashion, she has finally managed to turn the tide of affairs in her favor. After all, the Katrina Kaif's and the Kareena Kapoor's seem to have taken a head start over her. But now Priyanka is back in the race and how.And if that is not enough, Dostana is yet to release. The promos of the film look very promising, and if they are anything to go by, then the actress should have another hit on her hands. Of course, she would have to share the spoils with Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham. But one is sure that won't grudge them that. The actress has surprised all with her bold perfrmance in the film. The only other film which had given any real indication of her talent was Aitraaz. But now with Fashion, she has proved that given an opportunity, she can shed all her inhibitions and come up with a feisty performance. Talking of bold, as one knows, Fashion has received an 'A' certificate from the censor board. But the film seems to be up against some problems on the eve of its release in Malayasia. The censor board of that country is believed to have asked for 12 cuts. The scenes under the chopper are those which show the love making scene between Priyanka's character and that of Arbaaz's in the film. Also the doping scenes which feature Kangana Ranaut and Priyanka have come under the scanner. The director Madhur Bhandarkar and producer UTV are reportedly looking into the matter.
