Shahid Kapur managed to stay away from the lure of ads and commercials for quite a while now. But it seems that he has had a change of heart and is back to shooting for commercials.

The last time that he shot for a commericial was some four years ago, when he did the Pepsi and Clinic All Clear ads, the news is that the actor is shooting a commercial for VIP luggage. He is supposed to be shooting two ads for the company in Goa. While all the Khans were making merry with endorsements and commercials, Shahid chose to stay away and did not even capitalize on the success of his film Jab We Met. His co star and ex girlfriend Kareena Kapoor was not so aloof and is today endorsing a great number of products and even appears with beau Saif Ali Khan in many commercials, like the recent Airtel one, which even features Shah Rukh Khan. Meanwhile, the more choosy Shahid had chosen to wait and weigh his options. He is reported to have been signed on for more than Rs 7 crore for the commercials. Shahid, who is now the new brand ambassador for the brand, probably feels that this is the right brand for him. He is definitely getting great money for it, if the reports are true. Also the commercials are said to have a very youthful look and appeal. It has definitely appealed to Shahid.
