Dharma Productions' Dostana is lined up for release next week. The film, which is directed by debutant Tarun Mansukhani, has a lot of treats in store for its viewers. Of course, the main attraction is the love triangle involving Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra. But everybody seems to have forgotten about Bobby Deol, who also makes an appearance in this movie.

Bobby is believed to be playing the editor of a fashion magazine in the film. He is supposed to be this suave, well dressed, power broker in the movie. But there is also a comic streak, which seems to have been added to his character. It seems that when Mansukhani conceived of his character, called Abhimanyu Singh in the film, the only actor who he could see fitting the bill was Bobby. He was lucky in managing to get Bobby to agree to do the role as well. The look of the film is casual chic, but it seems that Bobby's character is the only one which appears all suited and booted through the duration of the film. Incidentally, the clothes for all the male actors, John, Abhi and Bobby have been designed by Aki Narula and Mansukhani, while Manish Malhotra has worked wonders with Priyanka and Shilpa Shetty. Like we said, the film is full of surprises like this one.
