On November 7th, it opened its exclusive and modern game zone BLUR which promises incredible entertainment to avid video gamers. Going beyond just video games, Sathyam Cinemas has also opened up a small restaurant proving delicious food. Sathyam Cinemas have dedicated two floors completely for the video gamer’s paradise called BLUR, which will dazzle you the moment you enter. The entire floor is filled with top-class games and big screens that can beam lifelike images. In this virtual world, you can surf, race, play tennis, and enjoy a whole lot of fun activities. It is nothing short of the virtual-reality-based practice room shown in superhero films! The guests who attended the BLUR launch were: directors Linguswamy, Vijay and Vasanth; actors Ajmal, Meena, Narain, Sanghavi, Abbas and his wife Erum Ali, and Vijay Adhiraj (small screen); and Commissioner of Police V. Sekar. The biggest attraction would be Gears of War 2 from Xbox 360, whose launch coincided with the launch of Sathyam Cinema’s BLUR. Vijay Yesudas, Parthiva Sureshwaran and many avid gamers from the city were present at the launch. Boy! As soon as the game’s launch was announced, a few samples from the game were screened. From that moment, it felt like we were transported into the game, it felt so real. It all ended with the fitting tag line: Be the action. Thereafter, the guests for the evening – Vijay Yesudas and Parthiva Sureshwaran – had a ball playing this new version of Gears of War. Some of the invitees also got a chance to try their hands at this game and the winners were awarded exclusive merchandise from Sathyam.
