New York, Nov 19 (IANS) Hollywood actor, writer and filmmaker Vin Diesel will reunite with director Rob Cohen for the third instalment of the action-thriller series “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage”.
According to theholywoodnews.com, the screenplay for the movie will be penned by Michael Ferris and John Brancato of “Terminator 3: Rise of The Machines” and upcoming “Terminator: Salvation” fame.
Where in Cohen directed the original in 2002, the second instalment “xXx 2: The Next Level” starring Ice Cube was directed by Lee Tamahori.
Diesel is also set to make a comeback in a new instalment of his other franchise “Fast and Furious” next June.
