As the rain gods unleashed their fury on Chennai, Bollywood's leading lady Priyanka Chopra arrived as a ray of sunshine in the city. She was here to launch the latest Carrera collection of watches of Tag Heuer, the leading international watch brand. The collection is inspired by Motor Sports and is a beautiful amalgamation of style and technology. Present at the occasion were Mr. Manishi Sanwal, General Manager, LVMH watch and jewellery; Mr. Ashok Doshi, Managing Director, The Helvetica; and Ms. Manmeet Vohra, Marketing Director, Tag Heuer. Also present was Mr. Prabhu of Accolade PR who handled the PR for the event in Chennai. The event began with VJ Cary welcoming the guests. Mr. Sanwal explained about the collection. Priyanka spoke about her association with Tag Heuer. She has been the brand ambassador for Tag Heuer for two years now. She also answered questions from the audience which ranged form her endorsement of the brand to her films. The star of Fashion and Dostana mesmerised the audience with her straightforward answers and down-to-earth persona When asked whether she would be interested in doing Tamil films, the gorgeous actress replied that she had made her debut through Tamil films (Tamizhan opposite Vijay) and Tamil Cinema was always very dear to her.
