Bipasha Basu, who is playing a Kashmiri girl in Rahul Dholakia's Lamhaa, had created quite a stir of sorts when she had walked out of the shooting and flown back to Mumbai, stating that she left unsafe in the state.

In fact, her decision had led director Dholakia to seriously think of replacing her with Vidya Balan. But now it seems that Bipasha has done some rethinking and has agreed to complete the film, which will include a shooting stint in Kashmir. The unit of Lamhaa had faced a lot of hostility in the state and their shooting was disrupted quite a few times, leading Bipasha to declare that she did not feel safe enough. But now it seems that the top cop of the state has assured the unit that their safety and security would be taken care of. That finally seems to have moved Bipasha and she has now agreed to go back to the state in Januray next year, when the next schedule will be held in the state. Currently, a set has been erected at Film City and shooting for the film is on in the city.
