A four day shooting schedule of Ek Thi Rani Aisi Bhi wrapped up at Future Studios in Madh Island and a few other locales recently. The film is being produced by Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Memorial Trusts' biographical films' division.
There will be three more schedules of the movie which will reportedly be held at Hyderabad's Ramoji Rao Studios, in Delhi and Gwalior. The lead role of the Rajmata is being played by the Dream Girl Hema Malini, who is incidentally, also a BJP MP. Besides her, the film also features Vinod Khanna and Sachin Khedekar in prominent roles. The film is based on a novel written by Mridula Sinha and is based on the life of the late BJP leader. The biopic is being directed by Gulbahar Singh, a six-time national award winning director.
