The scene was set for another major clash between the two warring Khans, Shah Rukh and Salman. But this time the clash was at the box office, as both their films were scheduled to release during the Valentine week next February.

It seems that SRK's Billoo Barber which is being directed by Priyadarshan and Salman's Main Aur Mrs Khanna were set for a clash at the box office. However, now it appears that it may finally never happen as both films still have a lot of shooting left and then there is the postproduction work to be gone through as well. Till a little while ago, it did seem inevitable. Given the prevailing hostile mood between the two of them, they may well have wanted a slugfest at the box office. But as things stand now, Main Aur Mrs Khanna has a lot of shooting to be gone through. In fact, Billoo Barber will probably be ready much before that. Billoo Barber stars Irrfan Khan and Lara Dutta in lead roles with SRK in a cameo, while the Salman starrer has Kareena Kapoor and brother Sohail keeping him company.
