The shooting of Downtown is currently in progress at various locales in Mumbai since the beginning of December.
Downtown is being directed by Andalib Majrooh Sultanpuri. The film's leading actors consist of newcomer Akhil Rajendra along with Smilie Surie, Vinod Khanna and Rati Agnihotri. The film's music has been composed by Sanjeev Darshan.
