Sanjay Leela Bhansali has finally set the record straight and denied that he is working with the Pakistani actor Imran Abbas in his next directorial venture Heera Mandi. In fact, the director has said that Heera Mandi is on hold right now. Currently he is working on his next movie with Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai.
Guess it takes a Bhansali to still get the cast of his choice, despite his Saawariya being a colossal flop. The director wanted to work with Hrithik and Ash for his next film and he managed to get the assent of both actors for his project. It will be the first time for Hrithik and Bhansali, while Ash will be working with the director for the third time, the other two being Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam followed by Devdas. Meanwhile, talking of Heera Mandi, the director said that he had met the Imran Abbas a while ago at the behest of Moin Beg, the writer of Heera Mandi and had realised that the actor did not have what he was looking for. Bhansali is surprised at how facts were twisted and presneted to the public. Meanwhile, the Ash Hrithik starrer should hit the floor next year.
