London, Dec 31 (IANS) Rapper Kanye West slammed reports that he chants 'spiritual songs' to exorcise his property.

Ananaova.com reports that some reports claim West 'reckons his singing will improve if he gets rid of the demons'. The Media Takeout recently claimed that West had 'gone bonkers' and has begun 'chanting to get rid of ghosts and evil spirits'.

West responded to the allegations on his official blog. He wrote: 'This is just stupid! Do I seem like a chanter? Do I even have time to be sitting around doing that? Why you gotta mess up my vacation with this stupid s***?'

He also wants to spend a relaxed New Year's Eve, contradicting reports that he plans to have a big party.

'If there's any parties of New Year's with my name on it, don't you believe it! I'm staying at home for the first time in five years. We did 98 shows this past year! I just want to chill, hoop and watch some movies,' he wrote.
