If all works out well, then for the first time, the Golden Globe Awards may see two Indians present at the function, one who will present an award, while the other may well receive one.
As is already known, music composer AR Rahman has been nominated for Slumdog Millionaire. Even director Danny Boyle has been nominated for the film. According to reports, actor Shah Rukh Khan has been invited by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association to the function, and is expected to present a film in the Drama section, walk the red carpet and give interviews. And to top it all, SRK is currently in Los Angeles where the function will be held. The actor is shooting for Karan Johar's film, My Name Is Khan. According to reports, even Johar has been invited to the event. If it all falls into place, then it will be the first time that there will be two Indians present at the function. And the chances of Rahman bagging a Golden Globe seem quite high. All in all, it is quite an honour for the Indian film industry, which is making its presence felt in the globe.
