Chennai-600028, a recent runaway hit, has teamed up with Arun Vaidyanathan of U.S. for Achamundu Achamundu, a thriller. Mr. P. Srinivas of Om Cinemas Private Limited, who co-produces this movie, handles the marketing also. He initiated this idea along with his two pals Ramzan Lakhani and Vaidyanathan, a software professional-turned-movie buff. Srinivas, who has already worked with Kamal Haasan and Maniratnam, is determined to popularise Tamil Cinema through Achamundu..

The whole schedule of shooting is being planned in the U.S. Prasanna and Sneha do the lead roles. Premji Amaran is doing music and Tamarai is penning the lyrics for the movie.

Pre-production work has already begun.
