When Balu Mahendra and Bharatiraja praised her voice, it sort of put Muthazhagu on a high. In 'Malaikottai,' she does a glamour role, opposite of her Muthazhagu role. At every possible spare scene, director Boopathy Pandian has let Priya loose in glamorous scenes, including in the re-mix of 'Aathaa aathoramaa...'

In this kuthu song, Priya Mani is clad in a brief costume and chills everyone like cool Kulu Manali! Now, getting back to Priya's voice, since the Kodambakkam greats had admired her gruff Muthazhagu voice, Priya now tells every director that she wants to sing a song! That is indeed her dream.
