"What I say is the truth and nothing but the truth," swears Kamalini Mukherjee.

Karu Palaniappan is directing Cheran in 'Pirivom Sandhippom.' First Kamalini was to be the heroine but she was later replaced by Sneha.

When Karu Palaniappan met the press last week, he told them that Kamalini opted out of the film because of call sheet problems. But Kamalini is mad that he is whitewashing an untruth in this manner.

According to her, "I was very eager to act in 'Pirivom Sandhippom' because it is such a lovely story. But the director suddenly changed the story and there was no importance for me in the new version. So I opted out of the film. When this is the real truth, I don't know why the director is giving some other reason."

What films is she acting in now?

"I'm acting in a story written by Bharatiraja sir and directed by Sathyanarayana. I am also doing a film directed by Girish and as Pavan Kalyan's heroine in another. Discussions are on for a Tamil film," says Kamalini with sparkling eyes.
