The extremely controversial actress Lakshmi Rai is now getting ready to make her debut in Malayalam with none other than Mohanlal. The film in question is 'Sound of Music', in which Mohanlal plays the role of a drums player.

Lakshmi Rai is known more for her controversies than the films that she had starred in. Well, all her films had her in ultra-glamorous costumes. In most of the scenes, the glamour show was actually quite unnecessary.

Then there was a very serious controversy when one of the pimps arrested in Chennai had lots of pictures of hers. She was questioned to find out if she had anything to do with the prostitution circle in the city. She says that her detractors were trying to destroy her reputation. "I'm from a very rich family. I got into films because I loved art. I don't have to indulge in prostitution for making money," she had replied.

It looks as if the incidents have had their effect. She has now run out of offers and is making her debut in Malayalam.

Like every other glamorous actress who makes her debut in Malayalam, Lakshmi Rai too is going to be properly attired when she stars with Mohanlal.
