LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Laila Ali, daughter of boxing legend Muhammad Ali and a champion pugilist in her own right, married retired U.S. football star Curtis Conway last weekend, according to media reports on Monday.
People magazine said Conway and Ali, who also starred as a celebrity contestant on the hit television show "Dancing With the Stars" last season, were wed on Sunday in front of about 200 guests, including Muhammad Ali and other family members.
A spokesman for Ali was not immediately available to comment on the reports.
Conway, 36, is a former wide receiver for the Chicago Bears, among other teams. He proposed to Ali in November, according to People.
Ali, 29, followed in her father's footsteps to launch her own professional boxing career in 1999 and eventually earned her own championship belts, as well as winning fame on TV.
