Shekhar Ravjiani of the Vishal Shekhar fame is finally coming into his own. The music composer is a singer first and his talent has been recognized by none other than composers Shankar Ehsaan Loy.

Shankar Ehsaan Loy, who are the composers for Zoya Akhtar's Luck By Chance, roped in Shekhar to sing one of their compositions for the film. The song, 'Yeh Zindagi', turned out to be Shekhar's first as a playback singer for other composers. The song too seems to have caught on and Shekhar is suddenly being recognized as a singer of merit. But the truth is that both Shekhar and his partner Vishal Dadlani are singers first and then composers. In fact, Shekhar has been singing quite regularly under his own baton. He sang his first song for Pyaar Main Kabhi Kabhi. But even then, he was a little taken aback when he was approached to sing for Luck By Chance. After tasting success with the song, Shekhar has been inspired to sing for other composers if approached. Currently, Vishal Shekhar have Sujoy Ghosh's Aladdin and UTV's animation film, Arjun. They will also probably be doing Ravi Chopra's next as well.
