Most people have dreams in their eyes, but Ameer has an eye on his dreams. And dreams, he has plenty.

Ameer's first dream is his dream film 'Kutravaali.' The jail takes centre stage in this story. There are a couple of other sensitive elements too in the film. Will the Govt., allow him to shoot at the particular premises? It definitely won't! This is the only reason Ameer is postponing making of this film.

After directing Karthi in 'Paruthiveeran,' he is all set to direct Jayam Ravi in 'Kannabiran.' Why has he not approached Kamal or Rajini?

"Kamal is a great artiste. He must have done 200 different types of characters in his 200 odd films, but one can still show him in a varied role. Like him, Rajini is a mass hero.One can still give super hits with him as hero," says Ameer, adding that he has stories ready for them. He did not specify if the stories are his.

He showed village atmosphere in 'Paruthiveeran' and in 'Kannabiran' it is the family as it's a family based story.

When even today's debut making heroes wield weapons and do action packed roles, it takes a lot of guts to do a family based story. Let's wait and see if his effort pays off!
