The Deol Boys Have Always Shone for their Great Cinema Skills

The Deol boys have always shone for their great cinema skills. Be it Dharmendra, Sunny or Bobby all made their mark in the tinsel town. It's not been too long since Abhay Deol was launched by Dharmendra in Imtiaz Ali`s Socha Na Tha (2005), and this young boy has till date outshone his brilliance in acting. He has managed to put some great films like Honeymoon Travels (2007), Socha Na Tha (2005), Ahista Ahista (2006) and Oye Lucky Lucky Oye (2008) in his kitty. Lately Abhay was seen promoting his film DevD (2009) in a tattoo parlor. Though Abhay has never got a tattoo done for him either in the film or in real life but he says, 'The tattoo parlor had come up with some DevD inspired tattoos '.

Post Oye Lucky Lucky Oye (2008) this humble actor has been very busy shooting for his next film and promoting his latest film DevD (2009) but what keeps him going is rather the love, affection and appreciation he gets from his fans. This actor is not just humble but also known as the charmer on the sets. Abhay has always been linked to his co-stars, then be it Soha Ali Khan, Minissha Lamba or lately Neetu Chandra. On asking the reason for it Abhay says, 'it's just the part and parcel, even I don't know that'. He adds that its best to be supportive on the sets to everyone as it's a tough job when you are shooting and may be those are the reasons people start linking him up.

Abhay too spoke about awards and endorsements and the reason of giving great hits but not bagging a single award he said, 'well awards are structured to commercial success and good connections and not creative work. I don't either agree bother or believe in them'. On asking to this frank guy about not seen him endorsing many products he said, 'I am media shy in any case and endorsements come your way when you are a bit all over the place by the media and at the same time I did not want to endorse too many things unlike Airtel which was a good brand and would love to do it again. For now I just want to focus on films rather.'

Abhay was rather the first one to work with the acclaimed director Imtiaz Ali in Socha Na Tha (2005). On asking if we would see them again together he said, 'Ya sure but at the right place and right time'. Abhay even spoke to us if acting with brothers Sunny and Bobby are on the cards but Abhay just hoped for it as for now there was nothing on the platter. Well Abhay is one actor who for sure believes that the movie he signs has to be well scripted as it's the script and not the director that matters. Like John and Salman, Abhay does not believe in skin show and feels he will never flaunt his chest or butt. Well that's time to decide but he for sure has a long way to go as he is not one of those who just blindfolded follows the leaders but makes their own way.
