Mumbai, Jan 31 (IANS) Abhay Deol enjoyed every bit of shooting for his forthcoming film 'Dev D' mainly because director Anurag Kashyap was always chilled out on the sets.
'Anurag would just let Abhay be during the shoot. There was no typical actor-director relationship, where the director calls the shots. Anurag would not say anything to Abhay even if he was fiddling with something or playing with a toy. Abhay really liked that and he also liked the fact that Anurag is spontaneous,' said a source.
In 'Dev D', which is a modern take on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's classic novel 'Devdas', Abhay plays the lead role. The film is slated for release Feb 6.
