Washington, July 25 (ANI): Hollywood stars Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are among a host of celebrities who are set to star in a six-part series of public service announcements, 'Clean My Ride, Flex My Fuel', for the purpose of raising awareness about climate change and the need for alternative fuel sources.
Affleck's wife Jennifer Garner will also be starring in the short videos being produced by the Center for American Progress Action Fund.
'Clean My Ride, Flex My Fuel' follows an activist named Phin and his team of A-listers on their quest to educate the masses about ethanol and other substitutes.
"He has a limp, cause and his own theme song," E! Online quoted a deep-voiced narrator as saying.
Damon, who plays Jason Bourne in The Bourne Ultimatum, dresses like a flex-fuel pump, urges Congress to get on the ball, and then punches a guy who asks him to dance in the videos.
"Come on, Congress. Come on, big oil. Mandate cleaner cars and cleaner fuel. A little bit of corn and a pinch of can-do attitude is all it takes. And kids love it, too. I feel like I'm being Punk'd," E! Online quoted the 36-year-old as saying.
Affleck will appear as a ear of corn, a possible alternative source of fuel, in the videos.
"Congress bows to fear. I bring the fear. Does big oil sleep around? Got bad credit? I'll find the dirt. And I will make big oil regret the day it ever uttered the words 'price gouging,'" Affleck-as-corn hisses.
Sarah Silverman, Jason Biggs and Joshua Jackson are also starring in the public service announcements. (ANI)
