Here is bad news for all those who were waiting eagerly for Ashutosh Gowarikar's Hrithik-Aishwarya starrer, JODHAA AKBAR. Scheduled to release on October 12 and predicted to be one of the top five openers of the second half of 2007, the movie has in all probabilities been postponed to next year.While the news about the UTV banner movie having been postponed has been circulating for the past 24-hours, neither UTV nor Ashutosh are forthcoming, but we got our confirmation from our distribution sources and reliable sections of the trade.
While on JODHAA AKBAR, it will be interesting to see if the promos of the magnum opus are now aired with UTV Motions Pictures' BLUE UMBRELLA, on August 10.
