Producer director Vipul Shah, like any other doting husband, will go to any extent to please his wife. It seems that the filmmaker has finally got a script whereby he can launch the career of his wife, Shefali Shah as a lead actress.

Shefali, who began her career in television, has by and large, only done character roles in films, like for instance, her role as Amitabh Bachchan's wife in The Last Lear and Waqt or as Anil Kapoor's wife in Black & White. But it seems that hubby dear has a different definition for a character actor when it comes to his wife. Fair enough. So he has now decided to launch his wife as a solo heroine in a film which is titled Zara Jeeka Dekha opposite actor Rahul Bose. The film will be directed by Barnali Shah, who is Saurabh Shukla's wife and a good friend of Shefali's as well. Shefali and Rahul are romantically cast in this film, where they will both play their respective ages. So as of now, Vipil has two films in the making, one is the mega budget London Dreams starring Ajay Devgan, Salman Khan and Asin and the second is the small budget, Zara Jeeka Dikha with Shefali and Rahul. Guess, who else but a doting husband can provide such a break to Shefali. She may be one of the better actresses in the industry, but her age and the kind of roles that she has done so far, would stop any director or producer from casting her as a lead in his film.
