After the average hit Shakespeare M.A. Malayalam directed by Shyju and Shaji, young hero Jayasuriya teams up with bubbly actress Roma again in an untitled film to be directed by debutante Ramakanth Sarju, a former associate of Hariharan and the Anil Babu. The story, by the director himself, will be scripted by J. Pallasserry. Produced by Santhosh Pavithram under the banner of Pavithram Creations, the film tells the story of a happy-go-lucky guy named Prakash, whose life takes an unexpected turn when he falls in love with a beautiful girl Devu (Roma), daughter of the local jewellery shop owner. The film will have leading Malayalam comedians in major roles. More details are awaited. Jayasuriya is currently busy working for three projects simultaneously: Shyju Anthikkad's Oru Black And White Kudumbam, debutante Swathi Bhaskar's Currency and Viswanathan's Dr. Patient. Apart from these films, Jayasuriya has also signed three projects to be directed by popular TV director Saji Surendran (Ivar Vivaahitharayaal), V.K. Prakash and Shaji. Meanwhile, Dr. Patient (also spelt as Doctor Patient) is currently progressing in full swing at the locations of Kochi, Peermedu and Wagamon. In this fun-filled entertainer, Jayasuriya plays a funny psychiatrist named Dr. Ruben Isaac, while Mukesh plays another psychiatrist. Radha Varma from Andhra Pradesh is the heroine. Jayasuriya's Currency has reportedly completed its entire shooting and is now in post production.
