Washington, July 30 (ANI): It seems that Jennifer Aniston is bored of her Los Angeles life, for she is reportedly set to splash out a whopping amount on a posh Manhattan pad.

According to a source, the 38-year-old, who is on Forbes' list as the 10th richest woman in the entertainment industry, had decided to buy a New York mansion.

"Her mind is made up. She's been keeping a lot of the details to herself -- until now," Life and Style Weekly quoted the source, as saying.

The source revealed that one possible reason why the actress decided to move to the Big Apple was that she needed a change after her split from actor Vince Vaughn.

"And Jen needs a change of scenery to help get over the funk she's been in since she and Vince (Vaughn) broke up. She's looking forward to the new social scene she'll get to enjoy when she settles into New York!" the source said.

Another reasons for the move might have been the prospects of doing theatre with independent directors.

"The possibility of doing a Broadway job and to work with independent filmmakers were the factors that tipped the decision," the source added.

The 'Friends' star will reportedly shift in her new house before this year's end.

The actress' rep has however declined any such reports. (ANI)
