LOS ANGELES (Reuters Life!) - A few days after abruptly canceling his wedding to girlfriend Tameka Foster without explanation, R&B singer Usher told US Weekly the couple may still get married, the celebrity magazine reported on Tuesday.
"As of right now, we don't have a date, but we will let you know when we do," the 28-year-old singer told the magazine.
US Weekly caught Usher, whose full name is Usher Raymond, and Foster as they arrived outside a hotel in New York. They were holding hands and smiling.
When Foster, who is pregnant, was asked if she was feeling fine, she replied, "Yes."
The couple were to have been married last Saturday on Long Island, New York, but the wedding was abruptly canceled. At the time, a statement from his publicist gave no reason, and Usher did not disclose any more information to US Weekly.
Usher and Foster, a wardrobe stylist, announced their engagement back in March and it was later revealed that Foster was pregnant with their first child together.
The singer has won five Grammy awards -- the U.S. music industry's top honor. He also has moved from singing to acting, starring in a 2005 movie, "In the Mix," and one year later playing on Broadway in the musical "Chicago."
