Washington, July 25 (ANI): Lindsay Lohan has been replaced by actor Rob Schneider in NBC's long-running late-night talk and variety program, the Tonight Show.
Lohan was scheduled to be a guest on the show with host Jay Leno on July 25, but was replaced by the Schneider at the last minute following her drink driving arrest on July 24.
"We had Lindsay Lohan booked on the show tonight, but apparently she was already booked. It's too bad about Lindsay. I thought our competition was Nightline and Letterman. Turns out it's Cops and America's Most Wanted," People quoted Leno, as saying.
And now, funnyman Rob will attend the show dressed like Lohan, in a blond wig, black dress and a black electronic alcohol-monitoring bracelet strapped around his leg, similar to the gadget that the troubled starlet had worn after leaving rehab.
Lohan was arrested on July 24 at Santa Monica for alleged drink driving and possession of cocaine, just days after she checked out of rehab. However, Lohan, who is already facing a DUI charge in Beverly Hills, is out of custody and is receiving medical attention. The 'Mean Girls' star has also been charged for driving on a suspended license. Santa Monica police spokesman Lt. Alex Padilla said that a small amount of cocaine has been recovered form the actress. Lohan's attorney Blair Berk said that she had a 'relapse', but insisted that the star was 'safe', and receiving treatment. (ANI)
