Washington, July 31 (ANI): Hispanic singer- actress Jennifer Lopez has been left with scars after filming a domestic violence scene in 'El Cantante', in which she stars with hubby Marc Anthony.

Lopez and Antony play a couple in the biopic on salsa singer Hector Lavoe.

"I have scars, literally scars, from them (the fighting scenes). Hector (Anthony) wore a lot of rings, so when we started mixing it up in that scene... It wasn't written that I'd push him or touch him, but I just started pushing him and telling him to get out," Contactmusic quoted Lopez, as saying.

"Next thing you know, my hands were cut open. They were very intense scenes, but we knew it has to be real. We had no time to mess around," she added.

However despite the on-set accident, they continued shooting the scene.

"There was a little bit of a moment there where the medic came and they wrapped the fingers and we continued shooting," Lopez added. (ANI)
