London, July 31 (ANI): Scarlett Johansson has signed up to play porn star Jenna Jameson in a biopic about her.
The Universal Pictures film is based on Jameson's best-selling autobiography 'How To Make Love Like A Porn Star'.
The autobiography, and now the book, will tell the story of how the 33-year-old went from being a ballet dancer to stripper to adult film "actress" and finally a multi-millionairess businesswoman.
Jameson revealed that she was the one who picked Johansson for the part.
"I tapped up Scarlett for the part and I'm very excited about the film," the Daily Express quoted her, as saying.
She also revealed why she was not playing herself in the movie.
"It was my decision not to play the role because I've lived that life already and anyone can play themselves," she said.
Instead, she is set to become the star of a 'no nudity' comic strip 'Shadow Hunter'.
The American actress, who has appeared in more than 200 X-rated films will portray a super-heroine fighting with the villains in the Virgin Comics book. (ANI)
