London, Aug 1 (ANI): Actress Winona Ryder's dad did not allow her to wed her sweetheart Johnny Depp because he thought she was too young for marriage.
The actress was only 17 when she was seeing Depp, with whom she co-starred in 'Edwards Scissorhands'.
However, Ryder's dad Michael Horowitz liked the Oscar nominated actor and thought that the two were a 'hot Hollywood couple'.
In an interview to magazine American Vogue the actress and her dad have opened up about the sensational relationship.
"They were the hottest couple in the US at that time, like Brad (Pitt) and Angelina (Jolie). You guys were cool," the Mirror quoted Horowitz, as saying.
"You stopped a wedding," Ryder said
"We loved Johnny but you were 17," replied her dad. (ANI)
