When Bollywood and cricket met, the result was IPL and it was truly entertaining to see one's favourite cricketer as well the Bollywood star on the same platform. IPL was no doubt an entertaining one. Super stars like Shah Rukh, Preity, Akshay, Katrina, Hrithik had been a source which provided a lot of glam to IPL. It can be well recalled that Hrithik Roshan had promoted Mumbai Indians last year and it was a glorifying success. Unfortunately, this time Hrithik won't be seen promoting the same.Source close to the actor said, "Hrithik will not be promoting IPL this year as he had done for Mumbai Indians last year. The reason is very clear that Hrithik is too engrossed in his forthcoming film KITES, for which he has put his heart and soul in it. He is totally devoted to KITES and does not want a single flaw to occur."
Now when IPL is going leaps and bounds, where celebs like Shilpa Shetty and all are joining in to add the glam quotient in it, Hrithik prefers to concentrate more on his film KITES, and obviously who won't, when the film is from his dad's banner and one of the biggest budgeted movies till date.
We hope after putting in all the dedication and hard work Hrithik's KITES flies higher and higher!
