AA DEKHEN ZARA may be Jehangir's Surti's first brush with direction, but that does not mean that he is a complete novice when it comes to film making. Jehangir's first stint with the entertainment industry started way back, fifteen years to be precise, when he worked for Durga Khote Productions. Later, he started his own production company, Jump Start Productions, where he produced, directed and edited television commercials and was pretty successful.Not only that his wife, Pooja Ladha Surti too is very much a part of the Hindi film industry and was the story writer of Sriram Raghavan's Saif Ali Khan and Urmila Matondkar starrer, EK HASINA THI and the editor of Neil Nitin Mukesh's debut venture, JOHNNY GADDAR. He met Sriram Raghavan and Neil Nitin Mukesh on the sets of JOHNNY GADDAR and immediately struck a chord with them, especially Neil who readily agreed to work with Jehangir.
Jehangir is very happy that he was lucky enough to work with actors like Bipasha Basu and Neil Mukesh in his very first film and that his debut venture had the backing of a big banner like EROS International, who have gone out of their way to promote the film.
AA DEKHEN ZARA is all set to release on March 27th along with Sudhir Mishra's SIKANDAR and Sangeeth Sivan's EK- THE POWER OF ONE.
