Melbourne, Aug 2 (ANI): Abbie Cornish's agent has denied rumours that the actress will star as James Bond's love interest in the upcoming 'Bond 22'.

Earlier, the Daily Telegraph had reported that actress Rose Byrne, who was one of the main contenders for the part, revealed in a recent MTV interview that Cornish will portray Vesper Lynd.

The part was played by actress Eva Green in the most recent 007 flick Casino Royale.

Cornish's agent Belinda Maxwell has denied these reports and claimed that it was not the 'accurate information'.

"No, I can tell you that that information is not accurate," News.com.au quoted Maxwell, as saying.

"Well, I can reiterate that that's not accurate information," she said.

Actresses who have played love interests to the British spy include Halle Berry, Denise Richards and Teri Hatcher.

Meanwhile, actor Daniel Craig will reprise his role as MI6 agent James Bond. (ANI)
