London, Aug 5 (ANI): Pop band 'Spice Girls' will not be visiting Iraq as part of their re-union tour.
Fans in Iraq started an Internet campaign for a concert in Baghdad after the reunited band asked fans to choose the cities they would want them to cover, with a promise that the city with the maximum votes will be named the Spice City.
"It's impossible for us to perform everywhere but we thought why not let our fans decide where we play? This is your chance to turn your city into 'Spice City'! All you need to do is tell us where you want to see us. We are literally in your hands," the Sun quoted them, as saying.
However, Canadian city of Toronto bagged the voting war in the end ahead of Baghdad and Australian city of Alice Springs.
The five member band are all set to kick-off their world tour on December 2 in Vancouver, Canada and the tour will end at Buenos Aires, Argentina. (ANI)
