It seems that Mani Ratnam is not the only one reshooting his film. Producer Rakesh Roshan is making the director of the Hrithik starrer, Kites, reshoot many portions of the movie. It seems that the film was originally supposed to be completed in a start to finish month long schedule.
Anyway, now it has run into 120 days and it seems that there are still large portions of the film which need to be completed. The matter is surprising only because Anurag works quite fast and managed to shoot his film, Life In A Metro, within 28 days. According to sources, he had bargained for 30 days to complete the movie and even told the Roshans so. But he had not taken into account Roshan Sr's inputs. He has repeatedly asked Anurag to reshoot quite a few sequences. Officially, however, no one is agreeing to the fact that the movie has extended its schedule. The official story is that 130 days of shooting had been planned for the movie but it well be wrapped up in 110.
