In a recent interview for a magazine, Nayanthara in her reply to a question regarding heroine oriented roles, stated that these days serials are more heroine centric, where powerful characters are portrayed by female leads on small screen, but in films it is always heroism that works.
The actress also added that in recent years only Asin was lucky enough to get such a role in Ghajini.
But after that even Asin was not able sign up for such roles simply because such scripts were not available.
She stated that actresses like Trisha, Shriya and herself are willing to portray such prowess, if directors develop such a script for them, sighed the actress.
