London, Aug 6 (ANI): If there's one person who doesn't know who Spice Girl Victoria Beckham is, then it would be none other than troubled singer Britney Spears.

Posh and hubby David Beckham had stepped into trendy restaurant the Chateau Marmont for dinner and the two bumped into Spears, who was also dining there.

Posh took the initiative and introduced herself to Britney, but a source reveals that the 'Toxic' singer gave her the brush off.

"They bumped into each other in the Chateau Marmont and Victoria said, 'Hi Britney. I'm Victoria from the Spice Girls,'" The Sun quoted a source, as saying.

"But Britney had no idea who she was. She just looked at her with a vacant and bemused expression and turned and walked away," the source added.

Britney's snub of Posh is being seen as another sign that she is in a precarious state of mind right now, for though Becks is a new phenomena in the US, the Spice Girls were huge in the States. (ANI)
