While son Adhyayan Suman may have already won his battle with a triumphant comeback in Mohit Suri's RAAZ-THE MYSTERY CONTINUES..., actor father Shekhar Suman is all set to clash with the veteran heavy weight actor, Shatrughan Sinha. However, this clash between two former stars is not at the box-office but in the upcoming general elections. Both the stars are set for a face off in the elections with the Congress Party granting a ticket to Shekhar Suman from Patna Sahib. Shatrughan has already been given the ticket from Patna Sahib by the Bhartiya Janata Party.

Shekhar Suman was officially inducted into the party by the Congress chief from Patna, Iqbal Singh, on Tuesday (today) and his name as the party candidate from Patna Sahib has already been approved by none other than Sonia Gandhi.

As may be recalled, Shekhar has not had it good as a hero in Bollywood with most of his initial films flopping at the box-office and even his comeback films (after acquiring the status of a super star at the idiot box in the highly popular MOVERS AND SHAKERS), EK SE BADHKAR EK and David Dhawan's CHOR MACHAYE SHOR tanked. So, lets see how he fares against 'Shotgun' Sinha, who in his hey days was a challenger to none other than megastar Amitabh Bachchan and is still a hugely admired and loved political personality. However, Shekhar is absolutely confident of taking on Shatrughan and has already thrown an open challenge to him, who in his characteristic style has accepted it whole heartedly.

So, a battle royale is in the offing between two popular sons of Bihar, both of whom co-incidentally belong to the same film fraternity and all we can do is wait and watch as the drama unfolds when Bihar goes to polls.
