London, August 7 (ANI): The association between Kate Moss and Pete Doherty continues to survive, not through romance, but a song.
A song that the supermodel helped Doherty write will be put on the new Babyshambles album, due for release in October.
It's emerged that the 33-year-old British beauty, who split up with Doherty recently over alleged cheating rumours, wrote most of the words to the track 'You Talk'.
And it means that Moss could be lined up for royalties when the album is released.
Doherty has now revealed that the pair jointly wrote the song as they lay in bed at the height of their romance.
"I wrote that with Kate sat in bed. I was just trying to impress her and in the end she changed a lot of the words and it found its way on to the album," the Mirror quoted Doherty, as saying.
Rumours are already circulating that the as-yet-unnamed record is Doherty's best work since his days in The Libertines.
"We're not sure how Kate's going to feel being linked to her ex - especially as she's trying to vanquish all memories of him," a source said.
"But it's a real credit to her to be associated musically with an album that's got everyone talking. It's a real contender for No.1," the source added.
A Babyshambles source said: "The irony is that now they've broken up she's more associated with the band than ever." (ANI)
